Presenting
the Gambler Dagger
The use of inconspicuous
arms came west with notorious gamblers from New Orleans. When a gambler
cheated, weapons sprang to hand from vests, sleeves, boots or wherever
else they were hidden. Those weapons gave a deadly meaning to the phrase
"the luck of the draw"... Although knives were usually hidden, gamblers
liked them to be stylish. This one, has a 5 1/2" forged, high carbon steel
blade with brass guard and tacs in 4 1/4" Mammoth Ivory handle with pommel.
